I am a brand new member, new to embroidery. I just bought a used toyota 860 and I saw it run prior to bringing it home. Once I got it set up in my work area, I turned it on and got a "needle case error f1h" that I cannot seem to clear. Not sure if something got moved a little (we were VERY careful).
Can anyone here help me with this. I did not want my first and second post to be for help :)
Also looking for a tech that works on my machine in the Northeast PA area. Hopefully this is a minor adjustment I can do myself.
Thanks in advance for the help on this.

Re: Toyota 860 Needle Case Error .. Help !!
Turn the hand wheel on the back to determine if it is able to make a full rotation and which needle is being held. Then, when you turn the shafts that you are talking about, you can turn it to read which needle is being held. Might be easier to respond by email.
Re: Toyota 860 Needle Case Error .. Help !!
Right behind the head where all the tensions are, there is a square like rod. Take a pliers and turn it slightly to see if clears. Likely the head just got bumped and it is not in the perfect starting spot. Worked on mine years ago....
Re: Toyota 860 Needle Case Error .. Help !!
thanks for the reply .. i think the part you are talking about is a rod with a square end .. you can put in a flat head screwdriver to turn it .. i tried to do that, but nothing cleared. i read on the internet that you have to turn it while the machine is beeping but the beeps do not stay on continually .. they stop. I cannot find any other info on how to clear this error .. i do believe you are correct that it must have gotten bumped a little .. hoping it is not serious .. did not even get to try this thing yet !!! any other ideas ??
