Any Mustang Owners out there?

I'd like to hear what current Mustang owners or customer who have one ordered have to say about the press?
Someone who owns one want to chime in???

Sometimes you guys cross the line so bad I wonder if you can still see it. I do not know how making light of this could ever be considered humorous or clever.

Who said I was joking?

Thanks Ted, how many prints on the machine. And I am curious, why do you have to fix the leaks, won't they send a tech out to take care of it?

It doesn't leak all the time...now and then. I just flip the switch a few times.

They said the O-ring installed was one size under.

They sent my spare parts kit...a bag of o-rings..hehehehe

To be fair...He offered to come and change them....or when they have the Mustang install in New Orleans.

I told them they could just wait until the install.

The internet is full of experts, there is another Mustang being installed in Ted's neck of the woods and any little issues will be addressed then, keep going HATERS

Btw, Ted has a lifetime warranty on his press as long as he has it, that's right forever, every piece, even labor, Ted took a chance with Mustang LOL

That warranty seems to be working pretty good for him right now. Wait for a new install in the area for the problems to be dealt with! Only thing correct in the above is Ted took a chance. Good thing he doesn't rely on printing to survive!!!

So back to the question Ted. How many actual shirts have you produced and how long since the install?

INKMAN, are you doing the Skype video call with Printex?

Quote:
Great story guys, Barnes is willing to go in person and address the situation and the offer still stands to setup a video Skype with Printex as the mfg, not sure how many times or different ways you want to spin it, but this is the internet LOL

What part did you not understand?

Very simple Robert have Andrew contact me if your idea is serious and he is on board. I will not take anything you say at face value in fact it will even be hard to trust any thing Andrew says since you and him already burned me once.

As you already know you deal with me when it comes to the press, Dan is a very busy person and does not want to deal with things that I am paid to do for him.

Email Barnes a list with pics and any video so he can get with Printex about doing a Skype

Watch the CEO of M&R in action here, try not to feel sorry for him LOL pathetic

M&R is desperate to discredit the Mustang, laughable

I just asked how many prints he had on the machine, trying to see what context Ted's statement is in.

Well since you like it all to be about you, let's put it this way: it's all about YOU.

Any screen printing machine that can be sold to a customer may have issues.

It is HOW those issues are addressed and the long term service that makes the difference.

But here's the problem Robert: you're a total d1ck and nobody trusts you.

It makes ANYTHING you sell look bad. I wouldn't take a Mustang for free because you are attached to it. Same with Printex, same with anything else you sell (or try to sell) in the future.

Not really Robert. We can always rely on you to do that! Keep up the good work!!

I do thing its a little funny that you are going to train someone and you could use years of experience before you are proficent at it. It might make sense to hire someone that has experience, just a thought.

That is right jmd..I will train him on what I know so far.
I will work with him until he is capable of doing it himself.

The bottom line is...I don't want to be a screen printer...never did....I want to own the business. I want to know how in case I need to step in. I will over see it though.

I own other businesses....my time is more valuable in other places.

Ted I completely understand...that's why I would think it would be benificial to you to hire a person with screen printing experience, even someone who knows his way around an auto

Rich, you lost the last printoff in 2004, and you are losing sleep over the Mustang

Here's an idea you sell in one year what M&R sells in one week, we will talk!

Goof sells 5 machines in 12 months and wants a throw down... TOO FUNNY!

Lets flush this rabbit hole and follow the money!

Hey Ted, I've been printing since 1992. Owned since 97 my own setup and for a long time I was the king of cheap punch and crunch and we trained people because it was cheapest way and watching costs etc. these days I pay the highest money for top staff, all my guys have 15 plus years in the industry now and get paid maybe 80% more than entry level and trainees and it's money I never question (often). They care more, they are intuitive and see issues and sort before they happen, no need to manage or look over their shoulders all the time, they understand all the water base and solvent and plastisol inks, transfers, etc, all the technical fabrics, umbrellas, bags, compendiums that can be thrown at them, waste is less, setup times less, colour matching perfect, no jobs come back.... With your investment you will learn from them and their experience, not by the two of you making mistakes, replacing stock, blooding customers etc. it's the best money you will spend. Go ten years plus. I won't ever like telling someone they doing something wrong as its their way, but this will drag you up or drag you down. All around the world screenprinters have essentially all the same gear for outputting prints with ink and converting garments, the difference between us all is experience, our staff and how we manage them and our quality and pricing. Staff are vital, maybe more so than the brand of machine you run in my honest opinion.

Ted, I liken it to your world, anybody can buy a camera, and cameras are cheap enough, but sticking anyone behind a tripod doesn't mean they will ever have the eye or flair to be the photographer who captures that microsecond of magic and makes the most amazing shots or manages people to capture the best, all they may ever achieve is just clicking images, yet they've got the same gear. And then liken it to be trained by someone who isn't a photographer but just read a manual that says open shutter and push this button.....

I would...but it is not always practical.

Many in the industry have already developed bad habits.

Ted find a woman printer, they work harder and listen better!

Why wouldn't he just send it directly to Andrew.

You want to spin it so you know how to counter his "issues".

I wouldn't do that Inkman. Straight to Andrew or no deal. RWB doesn't need to be involved. He's playing you.

Yeh the girls have a better attention to detail, but the sulking and rag week anger and time off with kids we have gone off for printers, but nothing like a sharp tongued woman at the back of the drier to pick up leaks, finger marks etc. get an ugly one so the boys keep it in their pants and mind on the job, send the good looking ones out to do sales.
