Embroidered Beanies

Hey All,

I am looking to start up a new hobby/small business in my free time! I really want to create beanies that have custom logos that I design and sell via a website like Etsy or something similar. Would the best route be to buy beanies wholesale on sites like Alibaba and take them into a local embroidery shop or perhaps send a vendor my design so they can create the beanie with the logo right then and there? There are just so many websites I don't even know where to start. I am based in the US and the logos I am envisioning are fairly tiny and simple. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
