Fast T-Jet Blazer Pro

United States

I am selling my Fast T-Jet Blazer Pro

This is an Epson 4880 based DTG that can print up to 3 t-shirts at a time.

I bought this DTG from a bank liquidation sale several months ago. I thought I would dive head first in to DTG printing. The print head was clogged when I got it, and I've never actually used it. I started to refurbish it, I replaced all of the dampers, but stopped short of buying the print head. I do know a little about the history of this printer, and I know that it's had less than 500 shirts printed on it. The print head is clogged from lack of use.

I don't think that I'll have enough demand to keep this thing busy, and given the considerable maintenance that DTG's require, it makes more sense for me to sell it.

Ideally, the person who would buy this DTG is someone who already owns a Fast T-Jet Blazer Pro and is looking to double their capacity......Here's why I say that.... First, you need to know how to maintain these printers. The print heads can clog in as little as a day or two if not used. Possibly faster if you use white ink. Secondly, unfortunately, the RIP software was not included in the sale when I bought it. I've heard that you may be able to drive two Blazer Pro's from the same computer. So, if you already own one, then you likely already have the RIP software. If you don't have one, I'll still sell it to you. The RIP software is available from EquipmentZone.com for about $1500.

At present, when I start the DTG, the touchscreen comes to life and the printer moves to the home position. The Epson LCD is showing a 1001B error, which means that the print head needs to be replaced.

This printer has two platens. Additional platens or golf ball caddies are available from EquipmentZone.com

Manuals, and training DVD's are included.

Machine is in Seattle area. I can crate, and arrange freight.

These are selling for $19,995 refurbished. I am selling mine as-is for $12K.

Thanks for looking
