Help with CE100

Hi,

I'm just starting to learn how to embroider on my Singer Futura CE100.

I have all of the software installed, including the autopunch software.

I'm trying to embroider a desing on a shirt, and my unit just stops with a 'thread broken' message, but the thread itself rarely breaks. By the time I am done - if I even finish the design - it's just a complete knotted mess.

The needle appears to be the correct one, and the thread appears not too tight, so I'm not really sure why where to go from here.
