I have a refurbished M&R HeatWave conveyor belt that gets filthy with black carbon.
I have had it for two years and I have to clean the belt with soap and water before I run any light or white fabric. I have ruined dozens of shirts. The soot has contaminated the whole shop - shelving, floors, everywhere!
The 4" exhaust has (2) 45 degree elbows in the stack instead of (1) 90 degree. There is an 8" 360cfm inline centrifugal exhaust fan where the 20ft of 4" tube flares out to 8" duct. The exhaust louvers are jammed open. It will pull cigarette smoke from both ends of the dryer easily.
I have had to clean the sparker electrode every six months or so.
Any ideas??? What am I missing?
