Making designs that wrap around a t-shirt

Hello,

I am wondering how to create shirts with designs that wrap around a shirt. If you don't understand, here are some examples

Can you make these by screen printing, heat transfer, and/or by spray painting?

I am really wondering about the process of applying the design.
