I have purchased a working MELCO EMC10-T on ebay (well it's not working)
After having found a dry solder joint on the PCU, it turned on.
Then the seller said it was running on a network car given with the machine (a lie again as it is just a normal network card and on these machine it's a special one, working with a dongle and a software)
Then Gary helped me for the files needed and I installed a floppy.
After hours and hours of search and testing, now the machine boots but stops on POWERUP...
I have used the testpoints on the MELCO AXIS MOTOR CONTROL BOARD
and there is no 15V present on the board; the 15V red led do not light up of course. Only the 5v and 24V are lit.
The board has been touched and I can see replacement on VR2 (getting very hot when machine on) and on Q1 and Q2
Of course the seller says that the machine was working when left and that the boards had repairs but was working fine, but now with all these problems I know it's a lie. These ebay sellers, why do people have to lie, that will stay a mystery for me.
Well anyone that would have these boards schematics or service manual would help as doing a reverse engeneering on this board will take too much time.
