Newman Locking strips

Camden, SC, United States

Standing next to the bench this morning with a Roller Frame lying on it. Next to the frame was stray heavy duty wire tie??? I inserted the end in the channel, it was a bolt of lightning from the sky, the clouds parted and sun came shining through. It fit like a glove. The one I have may be a bit loose for 305 and up mesh counts, but it looks to me like it would work okay for most open mesh counts.

This item may work : https://www.amazon.com/36-Nylon-Cable-Ties-1000/dp/B01AYKD372 if so, locking strips for these frames would come out to about $.03 for 36" (a penny per foot) and if this particular one doesn't work I would bet someone manufactures one that will do the job (at a fraction of price of rolls of locking strips).
