Mug Sublimation Q's

Can I use any old mug, or do I have to buy mugs only for Sublimation?

Can I buy Sub. ink for any printer? Or do I have to buy a printer just for Sublimation?

All I want to do is, black and yellow text on mugs, for the moment??

Im not planning on pass production right now....

Sublimation by far the easiest.

print press and cool and your done. no mess no nothing.

you will need to get:

mug press
sublimation Ink
sublimation paper

with out the paper and ink the image wont transfer it will just wipe right off.

and the mugs.. yes they need to have a subliamation coating on them . .check out blankdogtag.com they have all this stuff cheap and for wholesale.

thanks

Derek

You need to buy mugs that have a polymer coating if you want to sublimate them. If you're looking for a few mugs to try out the process on, we can help you at myenmart.com.

You should also have a printer dedicated to sublimation. Mixing inks can give you very bad results.

All you need would be a printer, the proper ink, the right paper and mugs with a polymer coating and, of course, a mug press if you don't currently have one.
