SWF is super cool! wanted a Tajima but the sales people on this side of the globe is pathetic to say the least! Do some research, think you'll find the only diff is the price.

Hi I have a new SWF commercial machine model 1501C which is basically the same as model 601C. The only difference between 1501C and 601C is that 1501C has 15 needles and 601C only has 6 needles. I decided to go with 1501C because it has more needles, and although it cost much more than 601C, I felt I made the right choice. I wanted 15 needles for convenience and also just in case I need to sell the machine, I feel I will be able to sell it faster because a 15 needle machine is more desirable in the market.

I also have a compact 1 head Tajima that I use on a regular basis that I am very happy with. The only reason I got an SWF as supposed to another Tajima was because of the price. Tajimas are more expensive than SWFs. The support I get from Tajima and SWF techs is just about the same. I have not really run into problems with my SWF, but I feel that my Tajima control panel is more user friendly than my SWF or it could be that I'm just not used to my SWF yet, but deep inside I feel the Tajima control panel is better.

Both my Tajima and SWF are pretty quiet when embroidering, but you have to keep in mind that I've had my Tajima for years now and it's still quite and runs smoothly. I can't say the same for SWF yet because it's still new. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with SWF at this moment.
