Help!! I am a textile designer, who would love to start my own home embroidery business. I have never used an embroidery machine before and am just starting to do my research. My question is this - what digitizing software should I be looking at? I already own a wacom tablet and would like to reproduce my textile designs as embroideries. What's a good software program to use that will allowe to draw - or can I convert my photoshop files? I'm thinking that I need a pretty basic machine, one that will translate my designs. I really appreciate any info/advice you may have.
thanks in advance!!!
Re: textile designer needs advice - please help!!!
You might want to look at Drawings. It will translate the Corel files to stitch files. It does a fair job. If you are serious about digitizing, try one of the more professional programs.
