Ink issue - Need help please!

Okay,

I have this plastisol ink that is really thick and after printing several shirts I noticed that when I lift the screen the ink is wanting to pull up with the screen and the nice sharp edges slowly get distorted by ink around it. Not sure what to do to stop this from happening and to keep my edges nice and crisp.

** What is the BEST ink used for printing on T-shirts, Sweat shirts, Sweat pants that is the most user friendly and warrants the best results?

* Thin out the ink?
* Ink bad?
* Too much pressure on the squeegee?

Or is it in my printing process?

Definitely thin the ink. Also sounds like you need to raise your off contact a bit. What happens if you do not clear the screen of the ink it sticks to the screen. After you raise your off contact put a good amount of pressure on the squeegee and keep it at more of an upright angle. Your most likely to have to print flash print but it should give you your nice crisp edges.

Agreed with Brothersprinting.
Deff thin out your ink.
Not too much though.

also make sure theres enough tack on your pallet, this way your garment is not lifting up.
Also make sure your garment isnt over heated after flashing when printing again!

Thanks guy's! After taking your advice I have thined my ink, Upped the off contact a bit and use a bit more spray adhesive to hold down the shirts and my white ink is much better now. I am now trying out the new (Quick White) by "Wilflex" and it seems to be MUCH better on black shirts. Thanks for your quick responces!

The Quick white is a great product. Be sure and use a curable reducer (there are many).There are so many interdependent variables that affect your final print quality. Be sure and do your pre-press homework as well.
