Need help regarding at home screen equipment

My fiance is a graphic artist and is very involved with our local music scene. He used to make tee shirts at his former postion and is now in paper. I was thinking about purchasing him some small at home screen printing equipment. To be used mainly for band t-shirts, local softball teams shirt, promotional bar wear. Just stuff his friends have asked him to hook them up with. He normally designs the shirts and then sends the orders off. I just thought this might cut out the middle man and if it takes off he could do some freelance. I just have no idea where to begin or which machines to look into. (Obviously not in this field) If anyone could help that would be great! Thank you.

There are several good pieces of equipment for sale on this site. Some whole shops. Since your fiance' was into screen printing before, I would ask him. Unless your thinking of a surprize gift.
I would still ask him, he'll be just as surprized that you found this site and was thinking of him. And he can pick and choose equipment that he knows.
There is too many different types of equipment out there to suggest which would be best for what he would want. It sounds like you have a good grasp on who to traget as clients, but different equipment ranges in sizes and costs, from hundreds, to thousands of dollars for each piece. Each one will do a different type of work. That is why it would be hard to discribe the many types.

I do however, wish the two of you all the best for your upcoming date, and luck in finding the right equipment.
