Need Machine-Bernina?

I am looking for a machine, personal use for young family, maybe more down the line. Limited budget or hubby will kill me. Embroidery a must. Want to be able to make/minipulate images. Thinking Bernina 200e and up? Suggestions welcome!!:confused:
