Tried to do some of my first Waterbase work tonight and have a few questions...if you are the W.B guru please educate me!
I'm using Wilflex SoftBase & WPC's. The shirt I did tonight was just Black & 485C...the 485C seemed to work nice...smooth and watery. The black I wasn't sure but I just did the Softbase and then the full 6% PC load of Black WPC. This didn't mix well, but got pretty chunky quickly. The print seemed to work pretty well, but I don't know if it's exactly what it's supposed to be.
Here's the things I did: ( these right? Wrong?)
*Had my squeegees pressure at 100...too little? too much? Need to be driving the ink into the fabric right?
*Had my central off-contact as minimal as possible...again to drive it in there.
*Turned my gas heatwave down to 1 or 1.5, about 2-2.5 min in the chamber and had the temp at 350 degrees.
Just looking for alittle advice on what might have happened w/ the Black mix and any other glaring errors I might have made?
Please educate me W.B. masters!
