Where is the best place to buy one of those exhaust fans on a flash, one of mine on our Printex flash has quit working (not loose wires) I cannot find any identifying marks on it or measurements but it looks pretty standard.

Re: Flash exhaust fan
How old is that flash?
Re: Flash exhaust fan
newark.com should have what you need. You will have to figure out what voltage it runs though so put a probe on the other ones and see. Then measure mounting hole spacing and take a guess on CFM?
Re: Flash exhaust fan
That is still under warranty.
Call Mr Robert he will fix you up quick.
Re: Flash exhaust fan
You can try Grainger and Mcmaster Carr. I have bought them from there. Since it was under warrantee it would be a great time for Printex to step up and send you another one.
Re: Flash exhaust fan
Thanks to those that helped in private, I have the info i need to replace the fan. Once I have a replacement fan in hand i am going to disassemble the old one and figure out why it is dead, my thoughts through experience with PC fans is the bearings seized.
Jhead I do not want anything from Printex, not a freaking thing. They lost that chance a while ago and it is not going to change.
Re: Flash exhaust fan
I dont blame you. I am glad that you found one. And a big thanks to everyone that helped you out. Thats why this business is so fun to be involved in.
