I'm interested on adding another flash unit to our M&R Sportsman press. How much are you asking for this one?, and Is it in good working condition?

A machinery company trying to steal a sale off a private sellers second hand listing. Is that you Robert Barnes?

More like seeing a unit that the filters are missing with the holder bent in knowing what that means to the inside of that control panel and giving someone an option on something that has not been abused.

I look at it as business must not be very good!
It does not look very "Presidental".
Are you direct selling,or would your distributors like to have
a chance to sell your demo products?
As for the air filter? Has it been that way for one day
or two years? You must have inside knowledge, and have seen
the inside of the control panel to make this statement! I see it
as with a little proper maintanance, and a few dollars, someone
can save some money and have a nice little flash.

Has nothing to do with business being god or bad. At 2k compared to a demo unit at $2,500 that is like new I do not see the value for a product that has definitely been abused. Yes I do have knowledge of the units and our distributors get first crack at al demo units as they come up.

I totally understand that if your distributors do
not get it done, then you got to get it done. I am
with you! If you have one for sale for $2500 , I agree
is a good price. I would suggest that you list your equipment
advertising theese good deals, on a new thread started by
you,and not on a thread by someone who thought well enough
of your equipment, to buy some, and for whatever reason needs
to sell them, and should be able to in peace. Again you have to
sell your equipment new or used.

Just a FYI Winston. This not the user trying to sell these units.

Rich,
I thought they where printers, my mistake!
You of all, should understand, people who
not innocently, hijack other's threads. I am
not a big fan of this. I beleive we all need
to eat at the table.Sorry again for my mistake.

The last time the original poster "bumped" this thread was 2 months ago. I doubt they are still available anyways. I'd be stoked to be in the market for a flash and then find out that a demo was available from a mfg for a great price weather it was from the distributor or the mfg!

Yeh my bad too. I was coming from the point of resale value of second hand machinery, and how can you sell your second hand gear if the manufacturer tries to steal the sale and ruins the second hand value of the brand, like, buy something new off us because it's great but you can never get rid of it because we'll jump on your thread and poach any interested prospective buyers and get them into new or genuine refurbished....
Not knowing the history and story and technicals of this unit. Great now it's clear. The seller should have posted it doesn't go or it's no good. Their bad.

I think there should be a board for manufacturers to sell demo, reconditioned equipment. A board for brokers and a board for private sellers. Don't know of that's feasible or if people would post in the correct section though.

Imagine if spidermachines tried selling a flash, the seller would quickly find 20 pages of postings on his listing and everyone would be crying foul because it's a second hand forum and it's classed as spamming. Where is Gilligan and JMD and the crew?

The biggest difference is that M&R would have the product and would not STEAL your money!

Remember the new Challenger ll that ROBERT BARNES posted he had and then would try to sell a prism ll. I think he sold my Prism ll a few times, at least 2 that's why they are called the Printex Prism ll. I bet they are up to model 7 by now. Sold 7 times, I out of seven is a winner, oh wait a winner with a bunch of press problems and no support or parts and 85% of customers are missing parts or have problems with their press.

Big difference between spider and M&R don't you think? Maybe if the spider crew never spammed and acted in an ethical professional way, they may have the same luxury as the reputable M&R.
Two different classes entirely, no?

I think your blowing it a little out of proportion. A person mentioned he is looking to add a flash to his press which kind of opens him up as fair game to someone selling a flash, rich and that person both posted almost two months after the original posters ad so rich I would assume figured it was old news and why not offer something available to someone obviously looking.
