new to Embroidery

IMHO, the easiest to learn with the flatest learning curve is the Melco Amaya XT. I have owned and do own others but hands down my employees get up to speed much faster on the Amaya XT than they do any other machine.

Hi, If you have the money you really cannot go wrong with any of the Tajima models... and they hold resale value better than most. We go with SWF personally though, seems to be almost identical to the Tajimas but much better price points... and they are steel framed and just look like they are more industrial than some of the smaller machines that are primarily plastic and cheaper looking.
We have an SWF E-U1501 right in the front window and because of it's look as a more substantial machine it draws alot of business for us.

I agree with Robert Young, if you have large budget, Tajima is your number one choice. If you want a cheaper but still a good one, SWF is the best option.

As for the ease of use, I find almost all machines (not only embroidery machine) has a steep learning curve, make sure the brand you'll buy provides training and technical support.

I have a tajima neo2.it has a lot of errors. very hard to operate.Dont waste your money for Tajima.pay a couple thousands and get Barudan.
