accurip test problems

varsityink's picture

So I got all new computers at the shop and can't run my flawless fastrip 9.0 anymore on windows 7, so I downloaded the accurip trial. Finally got it all setup but whats up with the banding on the droplet weight all the way from 1-15? I have clean heads according to my test prints, but fastrip never had lines like this thing does. I have the bulk ink system with 1 black and 5 cleaning solution bottles. Is that perhaps the problem with this system?

No I had the all black turned off and I thought I had it figured out after I changed the resolution, but then sent an easy sep to the printer 3 times and it just ran the film straight through without printing. I love getting new computers but man it is a pain getting everything set back up on them to work properly.

Did you tell it you had an "all black" system?

Because you technically don't have all black if you don't have black in every cart.

I would think that could cause some banding because it thinks it's spraying out black in the CMY(LCLM) ports when it's actually spitting out cleaning fluid.

We went from fastrip to accurip and accurip is better for us. I can give you our settings once our artist gets to the shop so you can test them out. Our film is absolutely black and very dense, much better than it was with fastrip. Once you get the settings right the accurip will be great. email me so I can communicate easier with those settings, alan@srimonogramming.com
