We called Melco about selling this machine and here is more info for those interested.

- If you want tech support on this software, it is $600 to transfer it to your name.
- If you want to upgrade to version 9, there is a special now for $795
- This is the high end software (Pro Plus) with dongles
- We asked about the value and they said its as good as the new ones and the entire package we have is worth at least 9k+.
- We asked about trading in, they said they wouldn't recommend it, this machine is as good as the new ones and low time on it. Just upgrade the software.
- 3 year extended warranty would be about $91/mo. They send someone out to completely go through the machine and put in new parts and do total maintenance. There is a $100 deductible. You also get a $100 store credit and a $250 software credit that you can use towards upgrading the software which he definitely recommends.
- We purchased extra hooping equipment as you can see from the picture.
- We asked about people saying new ones are like 10-11k. They said that would be for add-on heads. New with basic design shop is around 13.5, new with Design Shop Pro is more like 16.5 like this package we purchased.
