I have downloaded a design with 75 color changes and 88,000 stitches. Since my machine wont hold that many color changes, how do I proceed to sew out this design? Do I load the max number of color changes, and then reload the design, fast forwarding to the next phase, adding the new color changes?

Re: Multi-color changes
Are there any colors the same just different needles? If so can you group the same colors to not have so many changes?
Re: Multi-color changes
ouch! any way to have the digitizer consolidate some of those color changes?? Or if that is not possible for some reason then how about having them split the design into 2 files? both with a start and stop in the same place, you load one, sew it, then load the other and sew that one?
how many colors are used in those 75 color changes? You could have your machine stop at the end of each color and manually do each change if you are only doing one sewout and have the luxury of time? On my machines you just put in the same needle number over and over 11111111 or whatever... it automatically stops then assuming you made a mistake and awaits your manual change.

Re: Multi-color changes
Are you stating your software won't allow for the changes or the machine memory won't allow it?
You can change the number of needles depending on the software you have or you might have to sew directly from the card/disk if the machine can do that.
Is there any way to move the operations around so that the colors are the same in the software?
Hope you're getting good money for this. I did a bag top at 132K stitches (2 patches) full embroidery at $90 (bag included). I didn't check the detail on the second patch when I took the order and ended up having to get it digitized again because the details changed. Lost on that job bigtime.
