Forums:
Ive replaced the Entire sewing head of my melco emc 6 black head. But I can't get it to do a "head up" and I keep getting an error message "z timeout error." As the machine starts up, the cilinoid fires once and the head response as well but after that I cannot get any response from it, I tried head timing menu function and z timeout error continues to show I have also tried the function without the needle head on and off and no luck. Does any one have any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Melco emc6 help
I HAVE A MELCO MACHINE EMC1 BUT I DO NOT HAVE HOW TO SPEND IT, NOT IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME
Re: Melco emc6 help
Ramon, not sure what you are asking.
You don't know how to ? it? (Thread it? Start it? Sell it?) Somewhere there is a translation problem.
Re: Melco emc6 help
My machine is doing the same thing! Did you get yours fixed? What was the problem?
Re: Melco emc6 help
Have you tried getting it up manually? I have had that happen and I used a flat head screw driver and turn the area on the right side of the head that allows you to manually change the color position. Sometimes that will trigger it to head up or it will release it and then try the head timing menu function.
Hope that is of help.

Re: Melco emc6 help
Ramon please clarify and i bet several on this forum can help. I personally cannot as I am not familiar with that machine since my last Melco was a Superstar... * meaning old. ha.

Re: Melco emc6 help
I bought 2 of the single head tajima machines but I don't have a manual I did get them communicating with my computer and I have design shop 7 but I don't know how to thread this machine. It's different than the white head melco. Any help would be appreciated greatly
