Heya Rolandites,
Does anyone know if there is a current RIP software that works with our old SC-540EX digital printer? We are upgrading to newer computers and I have been told our old Roland ColorRIP ver 2.2 won't work on it.
Our local Roland distributor elaborated that the new VersaWorks doesn't have the correct drivers for our old SC-540EX printer. The only thing they knew of was a SUPER expensive, special RIP software that ran on new computers for about $1,500.00. I don't want to spend that much money. We might be stuck running our old computer.
