50 inch Durachrome Thermal Printer For Sale

United States

This is a Summa Durachrome 50" vinyl sign printer with Colorcontrol software RIP and dongle key. This was used in my sign shop and has seen very little use. Comes with several unused ribbons.

Truly Installation-Ready: Thermal resin bonds more securely to the surface of vinyl than any other printing method, including toners and solvent inks. Images won’t rub off the way solvent-based inks, ink-receptive coatings and electrostatic toners do. So your DuraChrome output won’t require lamination to protect against light, water, or abrasion. In the real world, thermal-transfer is the only printing that is truly installation-ready right from the printer.
The Size You Need: With 4-foot panels the standard on fleet vehicle cargo-boxes, and the preferred width by most contract installers, anything less than a 48-inch print width isn’t big enough to compete for the most lucrative jobs. DuraChrome’s 50-inch image width was designed with 4-foot panels in mind, allowing for an inch of overlap on either side. It’s exactly what your customers and installers are looking for in a printed vinyl image.
Low Material Cost: With no lamination necessary (not even to protect against abrasion), a finished process color print is just $1.42 per square foot plus the cost of the vinyl. Even when using top-of-the-line 3M Premium 2 mil vinyl, that’s a finished cost of only $2.37 per square foot. And our unique VisionPrint technology produces see-through window graphics on standard clear vinyl, so you’ll never pay for expensive perforated window films. When it comes to low cost of operation, DuraChrome is unmatched.
Unattended Operation: Print up to 316 square feet of vinyl with 100% coverage of all 4 process colors without changing a single ribbon. With little or no operator intervention, labor is virtually eliminated, making every job more profitable.
Asking price $12,000.

I will be near your area shortly and would love to have a look. I would have the ability to pick up the equipment at that time. Please email me back at 'refined@sympatico.ca' and let me know if the unit is still available and when would be a good time to contact you.

Thanks,
