Hi,
I recently picked up a 6 color 8 station Tuf Javelin from 1998. The owner did not know much about the machine, other than it got left behind when his tenants had to move out in a hurry (for what reason, I am not sure).
So the press looks to be in good shape and well taken care of. But under further inspection, some of the wires running to the CPU have been removed.
So, if anyone has one of these machines, or a similar year/head/station, would it be possible to take a picture of the CPU and all the wires? According to workhorse, there are no wiring diagrams on machines older than 2003.
Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Tuf Javelin 6/8 HELP.
Most likely the only person who would be able to help at Workhorse is Phil.
If someone disconnected wires there is a good chance the PLC (not a CPU)is bad or the battery went dead and it lost its memory. They were trying to figure out why.
I would post the question on The Shirt Board (TSB), couple of guys there have older Javelins.
If memory servers me correctly there are some wires in the control box that do not go anywhere. I am assuming you tried it and nothing happened. With a multi tester, time and patience you could ring the wires out and test functions on the PLC to figure out what goes where.

Re: Tuf Javelin 6/8 HELP.
Thanks for your reply.
We have John Stehle working on it currently, and he has been on the phone with Phil at Workhorse numerous times.
According to Workhorse, even though there is a battery compartment, there should not be a battery (yes, i know?).
I will pass on your suggestions. And will try TSB (thanks for the heads up).
