We're hiring for a Lead Press Operator! Looking for an upbeat, positive, self starter who can professionally lead the production staff. Lone Mountain Printing is a fact paced and relaxing print shop producing apparel for brands across the USA.

Lead Press Operator Job Responsibilities:

Manufactures products by supervising shop assistants; organizing and monitoring work flow. Smooth operation of advanced automated screen printing equipment.

Lead Press Operator Job Duties

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.

Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; schedules employees for tasks best suited for their skill set; observing equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Ensures operation of equipment by performing routine maintenance, calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.

Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; and recommending action.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Manage work flow and communicate temporary hiring requests when needed and likewise, call people off when not needed.

Coordinate with the Office Staff to make sure prints and artwork are consistent.
Communicate with purchasing regarding all supply needs or equipment orders.

Production Supervisor Skills And Qualifications

Supervision, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Production Planning, Strategic Planning, Dealing with Complexity and Quality Control. Must have Automated Equipment experience. We're looking for a person with no less than 3 years experience on the job.

This is a full time position and will require a regular schedule of 8 am to 5 pm. There are no exceptions to that schedule and if you are not able to work within that time frame please do not apply.

Since our inception, we have done things we had only dreamt of in our youth: printing for numerous brands, entire clothing lines for Discrete Clothing and Volkl Skis, and various other international clothing lines.

We seek to bring our customers the highest quality printing at the most affordable prices around. Our hope is to help the new and inexperienced customers in the printing world have a hassle free experience and let the veteran designers / customers use our experienced print and office staff as a tool to achieve the end results they so desperately desire.
