i am looking at purchasing an multiple head embroidery machine. i have come across a happy 1206 45ttc embroidery machine. apparently the machine is based around 1998-2000.
is there anyway this can be confirmed?
also overall how is this machine in terms of quality wise, build wise and for doing caps especially 3d caps. if someone could chime in and give me a review i would appreciate it.

Re: happy multihead embroidery machine
Think about it this way.. you are buying an 18 year old car.... what do you do?? Obviously you NEED to make sure you have a qualified mechanic look at it. Are you buying a lemon? your mechanic needs to stand behind the assessment that you are not. Otherwise run, don't walk away.
3d is more a function of the digitizing and your operator than the machine at Happy level in my opinion. Make sure your digitizer and operator know what they are doing... youtube videos as a must.
Don't buy something just because the price is so low you think it is a great deal.. Go cheap up front and you will need lots of aspirin.

Call up Texmac who handles Happy. They were helpful in answering a question about a machine I was looking at. At some point they changed the cap frames from the melco style to their own. You'll need that info as the melco cap driver parts weren't the easiest parts to find.
