Cleaner looking fills?

I've always struggled with complex fills and making them looks nice, especially with white thread. Any tips on how to make this look better? It's a big complex fill and you can just see lines all over that place where the thread meets up, it actually looks worse than it does in the picture. I want it to look solid the whole way through.

If it is a fill that has nothing going over it (IE there aren't running stitches or satin stitches going over it. you can use a light tatami underlay (between 2-4mm density and 3-4mm stitch length)

From there, increasing density to .32mm - .36mm and lowering the stitch length to about 3.2 mm.

Experiment with your start and stop placements and maybe even adjust your stitch angle and that should help. Sometimes just moving your stop and/or start point takes care of the "spaces". Along with previous posting Add a walk or contour, to stitch just before the topstitching.

all of above previously made points. you need more density (especially stitching white on black), you should run the stitch angle run in the direction that would make it the least span of the fill (in this case i would run it the direction of the slash "/"). doing this will also decrease registration problems. you need better placement of your in and out points. end point is more important than the beginning point since you should have underlay that doesn't show. but end it where the end of the fill stitch would run. it also looks like you could use more overlap where the stitches run back together, and maybe a nicer span and offset. i don't know about your software. my old software i used to use 3 and 2.6. in wilcom i use .55 and .75. the
