Please be advised, everything we have read online and heard from our clients is that the pretreatment solution, is hazardous to your respiratory system. Please take the proper precautions when using ANY pretreatment fluid. Also, the open booth systems, although in many cases faster, can contaminate and cause harm to YOU and your DTG printer. We just finished a complete review of the Pearl PTM and Pearl Elite Pretreatment machines. The PTM is an open system and ventilation is recommended, and the pretreater should NOT be in the same room as your printer. The Elite is a totally contained unit and can be sitting right next to your dtg printer with no airborne contaminates.
