Just got scammed by a member nemed nickornothing, sent money by PayPal and they never shipped, and they deleted all of their listings, is there no protection on this sight at all? I filed a disputed with PayPal but who knows if that will work or how long it will take, anything I can do?

Sorry to hear about what happened. This site provides a way for buyers and sellers to connect, however, like other classifieds sites, we do not oversee transactions between buyers and sellers.
Filing a dispute with PayPal is the correct step. The seller is obligated to respond and make things right, otherwise PayPal will return your money. You can also dispute the transaction with your credit card provider or bank if you feel PayPal is not moving fast enough.

is there any recommendation for avoiding this, we where thinking maybe a contract or have the seller send a invoice? paypal wants proof that we where actually trying to buy something, i submitted all of the private messages as proof
