Embroidery Machine Operator

This role will be responsible for the company’s embroidery, tackle twill, and applique needs while working within a small team environment. Shifts are Monday-Friday anywhere from or between 10AM-7PM with occasional overtime. Please submit a brief summary or cover letter or your embroidery, applique experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Embroider apparel and accessories.
Embroider items with the correct logo and colors noted on the work order.
Observe sewing operation to detect defects in stitching.
Trim and fold embroidered items as needed.
Perform post production quality control.
Operate a brother single head embroidery machines.
Daily maintenance includes oiling, control lint/dust build up, and organize work area.
Maintain an error rate of 7% or less per month (damage or over runs).
Maintain a production level of 30-100 unit per full day (stitch count driven)
REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/production environment
An eye for detail and quality control
Experience embroidering apparel and accessories
Experience operating a Tajima single and 6 head embroidery machines
Ability to work in varied temperatures
Ability to stand/walk all day and lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 /hour
