I've read so much but, still don't know which direction to go?
We are definetly wanting to print on dark shirts.
Is it possible to find a good used unit for around $8,000?

Re: Looking for a DTG printer!
I think some of the t-jets run in the price range and I think they have the capability to print white. Instead of coming out of pocket $8k, you might consider leasing. It worked well as an option for us. Obviously I have reasons for linking this, but you might consider THIS ONE. One benefit with this one is that it's turn-key, ready to run. No software config, no patches to install, and there's already customers too.....
Or, if you just have some questions, feel free to PM me. We've been through the same thing as you and are happy to share our experiences.
Re: Looking for a DTG printer!

Re: Looking for a DTG printer!
I have a Sawgrass Direct Advantage that was purchased in March 2008.
I have a Ad Agency/Marketing Firm and I started adding other equipment for our "Sign Shop". I am selling the business but wanted to sell this piece of equipment seperately.
I purchased the Sawgrass Direct Advantage for $16,500
This DTG is barely used. Check out this link to see how this one works.
