Salary for Experienced Screen Printer

What do you all think is a good base salary for an experienced screen printer that has skill sets in set-up, print methods, automatic press operation, etc.? We have increased our offers to $27/hour, plus bonuses and benefits but still have a tough time getting qualified applicants. We can home grow some of our operators but still need those experienced guys to lead.
