Tajima TMBP SC 1501 OR Barudan Pro3

Hi all, I need help from all the experts out there on deciding between a single head Tajima TMBP SC 1501 and a Barudan Pro3.

After EXTENSIVE research, I have finally zeroed in on these 2 machines.

However, I need to verify with all the seasoned embroiderers, if the following is true:

BARUDAN PRO3
(1) The newer Barudan PRO3 models apparently have an issue which gets fixed only by the installation of a "button" ... an afterthought "bandaid" solution, that Barudan sends separately and that too after lodging several complaints.
(2)Barudan is great on caps but not so much on Flat garments.
(3) Replacement parts of Barudan take forever to come (as everything is shipped from Japan)
(4) Barudan is a workhorse HOWEVER, the customer after sale service is bad especially if you live in a state that does not have a local sales office/warehouse.

TAJIMA TMBP SC 1501
(1)Tajima TMBP is great on Flats but not so much on caps.
(2) Much more pricier than Barudan (without any digitizing software in the package... Barudan includes Wilcom in the package)

Please help me decide.

Thank you guys in advance.

do not buy a used Tajima. Parts are overpriced, and they’re mostly refurbished. I have a TMBP, and it is working fine, NOTHING EXCEPTIONAL! I only wish that I knew about Baruden, before buying TMBP.

but for the past few years, barudan has been giving problems too. i have a 4 head machine, in head no 2, they had to order a part, it took more than a year to come in, and even after the tech installed the part, i have to call the tech again, because the presser foot hitting the machine. Head no 1, a part automatically came loose, and it wouldn't let me change colors and only would let me use 1 needle.

Haven't had much of an issue with my TMBR 18 header. Aside from my Laser not working, the machine just requires love daily! Remember to oil occasionally~
