I have a Stahl's Hotronix machine. I prefer clamshell opening instead of swing away. You can get them with varying levels of options. Mine has an automatic release so when the timer is up it opens up to keep from scorching garments. I have had good service out of my machines so far. This is the second one I have owned. You can see what they have at:
hotronix.com

Hope this helps.
