Re: new embroidery business
Good going, may I know which software you are using for digitizing. As per my knowledge Wilcom software is an ideal solution for digitizing needs.

Welcome to the forums :)
I guess people reading your post may be a little confused. Maybe you can elaborate further? What machine model and digitizing software are you using?
Re: new embroidery business
hi as i said above im using the singer futura quantum machine and the futura software and futura auto punch software which came with the machine in adition to my OP is it possible to make a design in corel draw then transmit it to the machine for stitch
eg if someone came and asked for a sertain design /piture but was not in clip art how would i acheive this for the customer draw it my self in corel draw? or other means this is what im getting at
Re: new embroidery business
I see what you're saying now. Basically, you need a digitizing software that allows you to have more control and features than what you're currently using. If you're an expert on CorelDRAW, they have a product called CorelDRAWINGS you should check out at http://www.stitch.com/.
Home embroidery machine users praise Embird a lot because it has tons of features at a low price. You can download their demo at http://www.embird.com/.
Re: new embroidery business
Hi Gavp8,
You can convert your vectors to stitches using Embird Software. This software does convert vectors to stitches but sometimes does not give a good end result. making designs for a hobby is something else, but if you go commercial, you have you provide quality stuff. Digitizing a design manually is the still the best way to get desired quality and results. Try using Wilcom, its another embroidery software that is vastly used. Get some digitizing tutorials.
Remeber my words - practice make a DIGITIZER perfect.
