I am stepping into screen printing on a whim - my main interest is band shirts and concert posters.
I have spent the last few months picking up items ala carte via online marketplaces
so far I have picked up up:
workhorse (older ) exposure vacuum PHOTO SHARP
workhorse oddessy 4 color press and also an older model
some some old darkroom fiberglass tubs for cleaning screens
pressure washer
my Mac and printer are updated and took advantage of some rebates and student/military discounts - especially on the epson sure color p800 print edition.
most of time has been spent on updating my illustrator and photoshop skills.
been looking for someone local here in phoenix that would allow me to shadow for a few hours or a day and ask questions.
I am still in need of screens, emulsions and paint. also the screen press need platons - not sure is any can be adopted from other sources or if I can get from other manufactures to work?
and yes looking for a dryer even if its a simple one--
