Looking for an experienced manual printer to help out a small print shop in the Chicago suburbs.
Must understand the entire screen printing process- screen prep, screen burning, press registration/troubleshooting, quick and accurate printing. Comfortable with 4 color spot color designs at a minimum.
We have two manual presses and one auto. Some days may be just printing on the manual, other days may be loading/unloading/folding from the auto, some days might be screen burning and mixing ink... General shop assistant position.
Not looking to train, Candidate must have screen printing experience.
Starting at about 15 hours a week, $18 an hour. More than happy to discuss higher rate for someone with production shop experience.
Ideally this will be the first full time hire in a small family owned shop, so there is potential for pay raise and move into full time position.
