Job Description

Athlete Performance Solutions is a licensee for Nike, Inc focused on the Olympics and collegiate sports. Our need for compelling decoration of product continues to grow and we're ready to add a Print Operator to our team. Our ideal candidate has an eye for premium design and has a demonstrated talent for executing accurate production, using a variety of embellishment technologies. Your work will be used in Nike Brand communications and on the greatest sports stage in the World – The Olympics!

Requirements:

-0 - 2 years professional experience and or study in print production. You may not have extensive professional experience yet, but you can demonstrate your ability to execute premium design work at Nike’s standards
-Be extremely proficient with Photoshop, and/or Illustrator
-An understanding of how designs must integrate with ecommerce platforms and digital / social media
-Have tremendous attention to detail
-Have the physical capability to operate digital printers / heat presses, as well as move boxes that weigh up to 50 pounds
-Be able to listen, interpret, and create. Assignments will originate from multiple people throughout the company. You will need to be able to quickly evaluate and resolve potential production challenges before creating and delivering on a deadline.
-Have excellent communication skills. Whether communicating directly with athletes, coaches or with your peers, you must be able to get your points across clearly and efficiently - verbally and nonverbally.
-Have great time management skills. This position is all about getting things done right the first time and on-time.
- Assist in forecasting, ordering, receiving and counting of printing supplies and apparel inventory
- Review specifications for each project to determine the best materials and methods for printing production quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with in house design team to prepare artwork for production
- Perform quality checks throughout production and verify that the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and tearing down the press for the next project
- Inspect and examine printed products for conformance to customer specs
- Document details of printing methods for consistent and repeatable results
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment
- Other duties as assigned

Preferences:

-Experience in print operation with exposure to direct to garment printing, heat transfers, and sublimation
-Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and or Photoshop
-Must be able to work from our warehouse (Austin, Texas)

Compensation:
$15 - $25 per hour based on prior experience / level of demonstrated expertise
Job Type: Part-time, with the opportunity to move to full time as the business expands
