Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SCHEDULER/ORDER PLANNER with experience in managing the scheduling for a customized ordered products. The ideal candidate will coordinate the sales orders into a production schedule for our operations and production lines of Industrial Sewing Machines, Industrial Sergers, Embroidery Machines, and Screen Printers and support the continuing growth of our business. This position requires a team player that will work hands-on with our Production Manager and Team Leaders.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

· Plans and prepares production schedule for assembly of products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders, sales forecasts or other priorities.

· Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

· Maintain the production scheduling in the ERP system.

· Communicate processing requirements of orders to the Plant Manager and Team Leaders to determine the progress of work and completion times.

· Monitoring the processing of orders through the plant to completion.

· Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment, order processing, and delivery of goods to customers.

· Communicate with the customer service and sales departments on any scheduling delays in production or shipment.

· Coordinate with purchasing department on ordering and delivery from suppliers on raw materials and supplies required the production cycle.

· Supply reporting of key indicator report, daily, weekly and monthly.

· Perform additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

· Experience in Make to Order, Make to Stock and Assembly to Order planning environments.

· Keep good communication and teamwork with related departments.

· Able to perform under pressure

· Analytical and problem solving skills.

· Have the ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.

· Strong Organization Skills – must be highly organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.

Work Environment:

· Work shift five days a week Monday - Friday, eight hours per day with overtime as necessary to prevent down time of equipment.

· No travel required.

· Must use proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
