Growing Moreno valley custom apparel shop looking for experienced screen printer to add to the team. Must have 2 years experience in textile printing. Embroidery experience a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Retrieve production order and job assignments according to the production schedule.
Reads and understands the order to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, and substrate.
Prepare artwork using illustrator or coreldraw verifying sizing of are work is correct to customer order
Review films for potential screen printing issues and make recommendations.
Obtains substrate, screen, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce the job.
Verify work to be completed to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity, and color.
Sets dryer for proper drying or curing and confirming cure with appropriate test as needed.
Prints job maintaining optimum production speed and makes press adjustments to insure print quality, registration, and color.
Solves printing problems as they arise in an efficient manner.
Ensures proper cleanliness of press, workstation, and press area by returning unused ink to ink area, removing trash, cleaning equipment every day, and reducing clutter in the work area.
