you don't have the whole story so i will fill you in. btw notice that he edited out the conversation we had.

cameron text me and i called him back. he explained that the exposure unit frame doesn't fit his exposure unit - too big - and asked for a refund. and the answer to that question is no, there are no refunds for the exposure frame not fitting your exposure unit.

he threw in at the last second that the black rubber stops don't depress. i'm pretty sure it's a replaceable part and i will have M&R send it out to him at no charge. i called m&r a few times today and just waiting on a schematic back before i order the part and have it shipped.

Here’s the kicker. Cameron bought unit #2 which as noted above is missing the pin bar for the light table transparency and a stop block. It’s not ready to use out of the box. So He would be waiting on these items from m&r which was noted in original post. Waiting on 1 more part really isn’t slowing him down any.

lastly did i know it had an issue? no. i bought this tri-loc unit from a shop that closed locally and we picked up a few things over there this being one of them. my guys never used it (we have i-image) and just reselling it. so that's why i didn't know about the black stopper issue.

Rather than bash someone’s rep why not just resell it since it’s you mistake.

Dude before you sell something you should at least inspect it to see if it works or not and if you find something out of the ordinary you should at least write it in the description, this is like if i bought a broken car form the junk yard and resold as used and in driving condition but without me checking if it's in good or bad condition.
Cameron does deserve a refund, you sold him a broken piece and that's the truth.

It’s used equipment - sometimes parts are old and they break or wear out. It’s disappointing to get something that’s not working right I get it.

That’s why we are making him whole and replacing the broken/malfunctioning part at no charge, just like equipment under warranty from m&r would.

Buyers are responsible to make sure any equipment they purchase is compatible with their set up. 'Used, As-is' is pretty common and I think a lot of us have purchased used equipment that needed parts replaced; expected honestly. Personally, I think Merch Monster buying and sending the replacement parts is more than courteous. If you're buying something used, it's your responsibility to ask the right questions so that your expectations of what you're getting is realistic.

Completely agree and I mention that was my fault in the video. Wish I wasn't the idiot that forgot to ask for measurements but I was so here I am.

If the original buyer is unhappy... there are people like myself that would be willing to buy it from him. Just sayin!! I'm looking for a tri-lock system

Hey Guys this is Cam from The Print Life. So this whole thing has gotten outta hand. Original I posted to video knowing Mike would see it and hopefully just refund the damn thing, but It has turned into a bash fest. I didn't realize how far it might reach. I just wanted a resolution. Although I obviously want one that fits my exposure unit, I have to accept that I didn't ask for the measurement so ultimately that's my fault. in regards to the frame being busted, Mike is taking steps to help fix the issue so I can resell it ( Not ideal but I will take it). So with that I think we can all move past it.

PS. I'm editing out the part of the video were I call him and his shop out directly.
