PRINT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Print Production Supervisor will assist the Production Manager in preparing and overseeing the operational processes for all orders that go into production. The Production Supervisor will manage all of the day to day tasks associated with screen making and all duties performed at the print presses. Qualified candidates must be comfortable in a production oriented, fast paced environment that changes frequently and requires significant multi-tasking abilities. The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager.
Job Duties:
• Ensures timely completion of all production orders
• Work with production managers and production planner to make sure all orders have the necessary items to be completed accordingly
• Communicate any issues that will slow down production with the appropriate departments and leaders
• Act as one of the contacts for the merchandising and customer service teams
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with various internal and external groups such as sales and merchandising teams
• Monitor and manage supply inventory levels (Ink, Foil, Emulsions, etc.)
• Oversee proper ink mixing procedures
• Assist in preparation and setup for production orders
• Help to drive a safety culture in the BSG production room
• Oversee effective quality control processes and help to drive an accountability culture in the production room
• Oversee and aid in proper print production training
• Assist leadership team in managing key performance indicators
• Keep track of open orders and work in progress to help determine capacity
• Develop and lead print production technicians
• Oversee and drive the flawless execution of print production procedures
• Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Print Production Manager
Qualifications:
• A BA/BS college degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Screen printing or screen making experience preferred.
• Experience with print production inks desired.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
• Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
• Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity
• Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members when necessary
• Able to work weekends and possible holidays
• Able to work 7AM to 4PM and longer if necessary
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Salary: $45k-$60k. Bonus: $6K annually. Best in Class Benefits with 401k company match.
