Barudan - BEAT706UF - 6 Head - 5 Needle $2500

United States

Barudan 6 Head 5 Needle. No thread trimmers. Comes with a large supply of hoops and hat frames.

Located in Ontario, Ohio. Was asking $2500. Reduced to $2000.

This machine came with the business when we bought it 3 years ago. We have never used it other than to test it out. We're running on 4 single-head machines instead. Everything works, but when we were starting out we didn't understand much about tension control and never really got the tension set right. Haven't tried since. Probably needs new bobbin cases to get the tension right. Reads floppy disks or paper tape. Sorry, designs not included.

Buyer would be responsible for all shipping costs.

Anybody interested? How low do we need to go? Would love to regain the floor space. We need to offset the cost of removing the windows to roll it out of the building and then get them re-installed... Would like to have enough left over to convert the windows into a door for future machine additions... I recognize that the machine is old-school and has no thread-trimmers, but it still works. It's not a bad machine, just doesn't fit our current needs. EOS (and TES for that matter) will write the Barudan disks.

Do you still have this machine?

Do you have any idea of how much shipping would cost on this? I sure would love to have it. Can you turn some of the heads off if not needed at the time?;)

I do not know regarding shipping costs. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. You would need to make arrangements with a shipping service. We could coordinate with a local towing service with a flatbed towtruck to lift it on to whatever truck you would arrange to transport it. This machine is approximately 18 feet long. I would have to do some research to find the weight, but it is nearly 2000 lbs.

Yes, the individual heads each has a clutch that can be engaged / disengaged separately. Threadbreak detection can also be disabled separatedly on each head.

This machine is still available. Would really like to regain the floor space. The machine works, but as I stated, we never bothered to get the thread tensions worked out. This machine just doesn't meet our present needs. I would hate to see it sent off to the scrap metal graveyard. It's worth at least the asking price just in parts. $2000 and it's yours.
