Hello, I started my own company a little over a month ago doing embroidery and Digital Garment Printing. Lets just say it has been a strugle.... My question is this. I have a logo that I need to embroider on 100% poly jerseys. They are for a mens baseball team. They have the little mesh holes in them and I was wondering what the best backing would be and if I should use the solvy toping? Thanks

Re: best backing for 100% poly jerseys w/holes
I just embroidered some jersey shorts. They had a fine mesh behind the outer shell and I used regular tear away for the backing. That said, if it was me and a single layer of poly jersey... I would find some poly material and cut a little square out then embroider 3 layers.
Re: best backing for 100% poly jerseys w/holes
I haven't done these and I'm wondering if they can be done. They would have to be backed with a cutaway but it needs to be the same color as the jersey. Using a lower density in the design would help with the mesh so in that case using solvy should give the embroidery a denser, cleaner look.
