my barudan machine keeps breaking needles. its every needle and they only keep breaking at the end of the set when it trims. hook timing is right, needles are all in correctly, the hook moves back to where its supposed to be after the trim. any other pointers i can try to fix this problem?

Either the bobbin tension is too tight or your machine not fully lubricated. That all i can think of

The trimmer knife is out of adjustment. The trimmer arm has a small bump or extension on the end that contacts the trimmer under the needle plate. This extension should sit in the middle of the round hole on the top of the needle plate. You can see the black round part from the top of the plate. If out of adjustment it will break needles.

To adjust you will need to pull the silver metal plate off of the top just behind the cylinder arm (silver plate that you remove to grease the gear). It will have two hex head screws. There will be a allen head bolt on the clamp that you will need to loosen and adjust if it is not in the correct position above. Once loosened it will allow you to move the trimmer arm (black color) backwards or forwards. It slides within a fork like assembly. Be careful not to loosen the nut too much as the assembly will fall down off of the pin.
