Sounds like Brother will be rolling out a new model to replace the GT-541 in January with a WHITE ink option! Apparently they gave people a sneak peak at ISS New Orleans... was anyone there that can expand on this?

Re: Brother replaces GT-541
If you are talking about Brother's new "Grafi Tee" system that does white ink, a rep brought one into our shop for us to demo in person. Coming from the GT-541, I was not impressed. The requirement for a separate pre-treat station makes it impractical for anything but small orders, and the print speed is very slow. We ran a large full back design to test it, and it ate up nearly $7.00 worth of ink for one design.

Wait till the Chinese sort out a cheaper white ink version. They did great with dye sub inks as opposed to sawgrass. That will be the real turning point.
