Hi Everyone. My mom bought an existing screen-printing and embroidery business about a year and a half ago. My oldest sister was supposed to be a partner in it, but family issues have arose and she no longer wants anything to do with it. My mom has been forced to move the business out to a building on her property and will no longer have store-front. I think she'll do just fine there though. My question is, we moved the embroidery machine and since we moved it, she can't get it to work. It's very old. It's a Melco, 2 head, but I don't know the model number. When she turns it on, it goes through all it's start-up stuff, but then won't read the disk and says there is a stepper motor error and they can't get the bar to move. They don't have a user's manual for this machine at all. The got really screwed when they bought this business and I am just trying to find out any information I can to help her. If anyone knows what the problem might be, please let me know. They have tried changing fuses, but it just keeps blowing them. Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help.

Jeff Banks - works at Melco, and can assist you best...but you will need to let him know the model # etc.
The stepper motor is what drives the x/y movements , so may need to be replaced..but will probably need some kind of tuneup overall.
