Do you post on YouTube?

Hi, do any embroiderers or digitizers on this forum post videos of the processes on YouTube? If so , what camera do you use? I was thinking of getting the GoPro HERO 3... anyone have any experience with them?

OK, got my GoPro..... and think I will post some digitizing related videos.... it will help me learn the camera and the editing software and give our customer service people the ability to provide the link for the most common questions they are asked. Might provide more credibility? SO , any ideas what you think would be good to see a video of?

Here is my list so far:

1. why do the letters on the computer or in the printout appear all different sizes? will it sew that way? this would be a short video explaining push and pull comp and showing sewouts of both good and bad lettering with the corresponding run sheet so they can clearly see the difference.

2. a video showing 40wt vs 60wt for small lettering. Just create a template of half inch letters all the way down to 1/8th inch and sew both templates... one in 40 and one in 60... then you decide.

3. a video showing clients how to enter an order or a quote on our system, and how to download the file and runsheet after. this one is company specific but is needed.

4 maybe something where we take the same design and send it to 5 different digitizers.... not to slam anyone for quality, but to show how many designs can be done differently.. so if you have a particular way you want something done, or are trying to match something done before.. COMMUNICATE that, otherwise look at the possible differences... and probable revision fees after the fact since mind reading was required the first time.

5 along the same vein, take a design and send it to 5 different embroiderers for a sewn sample.. .again, not to slam quality, but to show how machine, operator, threads, etc can change a design. trying to show that true quality is a marriage between digitizer and production elements.. not all one or the other. many "edits" are really not due to digitizing.

Your ideas?? please.
